Hi, I'm Chee Zhang and I'm passionate about game design. I received my Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Technology from Shandong University and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Game Science and Design at Northeastern University. My goal is to use my skills and creativity to create engaging and immersive games that players will love. Our Game "Hongxing Kindergarten" Captivates YouTube Creators with Unique Horror Puzzle Gameplay

We are excited to announce the positive reception of our latest game, "Hongxing Kindergarten," by YouTube creators in the gaming community. Since its release on itch.io, the game has garnered attention for its innovative approach to horror puzzle gameplay and immersive storytelling."Hongxing Kindergarten" takes place in a seemingly normal kindergarten, but as the player progresses through the game, they uncover the dark secrets lurking beneath the surface. The game's developers, a team of talented game design students, aimed to create a horror puzzle game with no traditional horror elements that only create an immediate shock to the players and do not last long. Instead, they used puzzles to entice players to explore the space and let players stay in the game. During the time they are in the spaces, the environment gradually changes from a normal kindergarten to a crashed horror space. The game uses a mild pace but lets players get goosebumps when they immerse in our game. The goal is not to scare the players, but to let the players shiver.The game's unique approach to horror has caught the attention of several YouTube creators in the gaming community, who have created videos showcasing the gameplay and praising the game's originality. These include popular creators such as YIN and SenLing(森零). Their videos have generated buzz around the game and helped to bring attention to the talented team behind it."Hongxing Kindergarten" is available for download on itch.io. We are currently working to fix bugs and add additional features to enhance the player experience.

First time GDC!

It was amazing to meet fellow gaming enthusiasts, industry professionals, and like-minded individuals who share the same passion for game development. The discussions, presentations, and showcases provided valuable insights into the latest trends and innovations in the gaming world.
This GDC experience has not only broadened my horizons but also fueled my determination to contribute to the industry's growth and evolution. As I move forward, I'm excited to implement what I've learned, collaborate with my new connections, and continue exploring opportunities in game design and development.

Let’s Celebrate Holi

I attended the celebration event of Holi organized by the Indian student organization on campus recently. The event was filled with colorful powders, music, and dances. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about Indian culture and traditions, and to meet new friends from different backgrounds. I had a great time and look forward to attending more cultural events like this in the future!
